The highlight of the new year still contained the backwash of last year, even though we toasted with champagne and ate an unimaginable amount of cake. We all can conclude that Jan 1, 2021, did not feel any different from Dec 31st. With the closing of the prior year, I decided to bypass making a new year’s resolutions, I did instead make a *declaration, which is to complete one incomplete personal project this year.  The BGW blog has been the secret space that I would go and write, BUT not share with anyone. I think I’m doing you all a disservice by not sharing, so BGW is going live this year. 

Declaration aside, I did tell my friend that I felt that at some point in the year things may feel different. I never thought that I would long for the day in which I would take a long flight somewhere, but I really do hope that 2021 would offer up that chance.

Until then, I’ll keep my declaration.
